Gosh. What a year we have all had. The global pandemic really did test all of us and continues to be challenging for so many. For myself and many others in the creative industries we saw our whole livelihood coming to a grinding halt back in March.
Slowly, some of us have been able to adjust our ways of working and how we reach a broader audience. For me, this has presented many barriers. The online world was largely an unknown for me.
Learning how to reposition myself and build a presence online - wow, my head has hurt - it is still a mystery to me, but bit by bit and with persistence I have redesigned my website, rebranded my business, gained a small Facebook and Instagram following that give me that little bit of encouragement I need to keep on creating, and I've made wonderful connections with some amazingly beautiful souls in my customers.
Despite all the hardships this year, I am grateful for 2020. I learned a lot about myself, had time to hone my craft, gained greater focus with my creations and my business and my home life is wonderful. I can't believe we are now at the end of this year. Who knows what 2021 will bring. I'm hoping it will be amazing and that my little business will keep on growing.
So, as I farewell 2020 and welcome 2021 I want to thank all my lovely customers who have purchased my creations, entrusted me to create some very special and unique gifts for loved ones, supported me on my social media platforms and just kept me going and helped me to create what I love and to love what I create.
I look forward to seeing you all on the other side of this strange year.
What a year!
